With your key, each capture is read once by Haiku 4.5, the model we use by default, and you pay for what it uses, directly to Anthropic. We take no margin on it, so we have no reason to push you to capture more.
On a computer, the local model does the same job for nothing. That is what happens when the engine is open: we would rather tell you than pretend otherwise.

To create your key: an account on console.anthropic.com, a few dollars of credit, then the API Keys section. You then paste it into sinam, and it never leaves your device.
Everything that comes from us, yes: the apps, and for now the licence for the phone on its own. Sorting with your Anthropic key is paid from day one, to Anthropic. With a computer and the local model, you pay nothing at all.
The local model needs the power of a computer. On its own, a phone therefore goes through Anthropic's AI, which is paid as you go. Linked to your computer, it has nothing left to sort itself.
On Haiku 4.5, the default model: around €1 a month for up to a hundred captures, between €1.50 and €4 at three hundred.
Your phone still captures anywhere, keeps your whole memory, and your computer does the sorting if they are linked. Nothing is deleted, nothing is locked.
